What You'll Need For Your Appraisal
- List of machinery and equipment to be appraised (FAS)
- List of location(s) to be inspected along with the type of operations at each location
- Total floor area (sq-ft) by location
- Copies of past appraisals (if available)
- Information on why you need an appraisal
Additional Information Requests
Under certain conditions, we will ask for additional information about certain assets or groups of assets. These requests are used to improve the quality of information gathered and, under certain situations, to expedite the inspection process, allowing the appraiser to complete the on site inspection in a faster time frame.Information We May Ask For:
- Depreciation schedule, including any assigned asset number, a brief description of the asset, the date of acquisition, and the original acquisition cost.
- Completed specific equipment information request sheets, if applicable.
- For all major production equipment not specifically requested, a listing including:
- Year of manufacture
- Manufacturer
- Model
- Serial number
- Relevant capacity (i.e., tons, gauge, width, feet/minute, horsepower, etc.)
- Additional specifications (i.e., cutoff length, table size, etc.)
- If production capacity includes production lines: information pertaining to capabilities and capacities, such as pounds or tons per hour or day, pieces per hour, etc.
- Information regarding any equipment that is to be included in the appraisal that is not on site (i.e., equipment being purchased and installed, machinery out for repair or rebuild, etc.)
